That is why the company is committed to subsidizing rides that fall below $5, so the driver will never make less than that minimum. We are not asking drivers to carry the burden of unfair pricing. We are stepping in to protect the value of their work.

We also understand the unique struggle of drivers in rural areas and smaller cities. Many drivers in those markets are forced to drive far away from home just to find enough customers to make the day worthwhile.
